Is The Sd Card In A Trail Camera Supposed To Be Locked

davel

I institute a solution that just worked for my camera and it may help someone else. I accept the Moultrie Game Spy and kept getting the dreaded "SD card lock" fifty-fifty when I put new SD cards in.
I put the carte du jour into my calculator (I'thousand running Vista) slot and right click first. Correct click the SD card drive and click "format".
I but used the default setting that comes upwards but brand sure it formats the "FAT" file system and click format.
All the cards worked later that, even the older 1 I was having problems with. Don't know if this will work on the newer cameras...they may employ the "FAT32" file system.
Hope this helps someone.

You put a SD card into your computer? Where? I don't see any place.

Information technology depends on what kind of estimator you have. Most of the newer computers (inside the concluding couple of years) have slots to accept SD cards, compact flash cards, etc. Mine is located on the front of the tower at the top next to the extra USB ports. They may be located somewhere else on different computers but they are usually on the front of the tower.
Hope this helped.
